LEVEL 3 QUALIFIED EARLY YEARS PRACTITIONER

Overview

Middle Barton Pre-School is seeking a caring and enthusiastic Level 3 Qualified Early Years Practitioner to join our friendly and committed team, Monday to Friday, during term time. Flexible working hours can be discussed with applicants. 

We are a small, charity-run village pre-school located in a beautiful rural Oxfordshire setting. Access to your own transport is essential unless you live within walking distance.

Our setting places a strong emphasis on outdoor learning, child-led play, and eco-conscious practices. We make daily use of our outdoor space in all seasons and encourage curiosity, independence, and care for the environment in everything we do.

This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about early years education, loves the outdoors, and is looking to be part of a warm, community-focused team.

You will support the learning and development of children aged 2–4 in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), helping to create a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment.

Personal attributes

 

• A full and relevant Level 3 qualification in Early Years is essential

• A genuine love of working with young children and supporting their development

• A passion for nature, outdoor play, and eco-conscious practice

• Friendly, collaborative, and positive attitude

• Strong understanding of the EYFS and safeguarding procedures

• Reliable and self-motivated

• Access to a car (unless living in the village) is essential due to the rural location

 

Applicants must hold valid Paediatric First Aid and Safeguarding certificates. An enhanced DBS check will also be required for this role.
